Ghanaian blogger, Felix Adomako Mensah, popularly known as Zionfelix, found himself on the wrong side of social media trolls after an attempt to hype the Black Stars.
Zion shared a photo of himself fully draped in a Ghana flag with a message of encouragement for the team.
He wrote: “The Ghana 🇬🇭 in me Full support for the senior national team in all World Cup games,”
The blogger was in jeans and sneakers beneath the large flag, which was draped over his top.
Netizens who reacted to his photo almost exclusively chose to focus on his sneakers.
Zion was trolled over his choice of footwear with fans dropping numerous funny comments.
“See ein shoe like kabutey ein forehead😂,” one amused netizen wrote.
“Who else zoomed to see the camboo 👟 😂,” another wrote.
Ghana’s Black Stars begin their world cup campaign Thursday at 4 pm against Portugal’s Selecao.
Trolling or no trolling, Onua Zionfelix is sure to be ready to support the team in his flags and Kabutey boots.
