Joseph Paul Amoah qualified for the men’s 200m semi-finals at the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham after winning his heat on Thursday.

Meanwhile, his compatriot Abdul Rasheed Saminu ran a personal best of 21.32 seconds but did not make the 200m semi-finals.

Saminu came third in heat 2.
