Ahafo Region’s representative in this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful reality show Loretta Boateng, popularly known on stage as Tiwaa, and Upper West Region’s Ethel Sokuu, known by her stage name Agbang, became the latest evictees from the show.
Their votes on the night coupled with their respective performances could not keep them any longer in the contest.
Sunday, September 4 was dubbed ‘Melodies From Our Land’ and the remaining contestants were tasked to showcase the rich musical history of their respective regions.
Tiwaa’s performance of appellation songs, traditionally known as Nwomkro, right to highlife from her region was not enough to give her another chance to perform to her fans.

She was the first to be evicted.
She was joined on the eviction train by Agbang, who came on stage mimicking world-acclaimed musical export from Ghana, Wiyaala.
Though showcasing some of the modern musical icons produced from the Upper West Region, like Samini, she highlighted the Xylophone as central to the melodies produced from that part of Ghana.
Agbang from the Upper West brings us a performance that throws more light on the the importance of Xylophne and how essential the Xylophone is to our music.
But it was not to be for her as the axe fell heavily on her.
Five candidates came up for eviction on the night, which was carried by Greater Accra Region’s Naa Ahema.
Best Costumed and Most Eloquent awards went to Kessewaa and Xornam respectively.
