Renowned events Master of Ceremony (MC), Kwesi Pratt Yamoah – popularly known in the entertainment industry as MysterPratt, has partnered with Namibian finest conglomerate ‘Wendy’s Creations Events’ to promote tourism and the events industry between the two countries.

The agreement happened when MysterPratt recently visited Namibia – being gladly hosted by his counterpart.

The said agreement will see Namibians come to Ghana to affiliate with Ghanaians to learn and explore more about the events industry, and will also see Ghanaian vendors travel to Windhoek to explore events  opportunities that exist in the Southern African country.

Speaking at a meet and greet seminar to welcome him, the ‘2020 Event MC of the Year’ highlighted on the long-term opportunities the events space presents and how players can validate their role within the space.

He also highlighted on best practices from Ghana and how Ghanaian event vendors are projecting their rich culture through weddings and other ceremonies.

“I am extremely glad to receive such a wonderful reception from the people here. Indeed, Namibians are very nice people. I am very optimistic that this partnership deal will go a long way to make very positive impacts on both countries,” he said.

Moreover, another Ghanaian fashion entrepreneur, Serwah Danquah (Corporate Chic by KD) also emphasised on the importance of personal image in building one’s brand as a Master of Ceremonies.

She highlighted on the trends in Ghanaian fashion and how individual brands are building their heritage based on their taste for indigenous fashion.

MysterPratt and the team later paid a courtesy call on the Ghana’s High Commissioner in Namibia, H.E. Alhassan Yakubu.

Meanwhile, the ambassador expressed his willingness to support Ghanaian creative, and committed to ensure cooperation between creatives in Ghana and Namibia.

The team’s visit ended with a tour to Namibian’s historical sites in Windhoek, as well as experiencing its cultural heritage.
