$1m found in Cecilia Dapaah’s home; $800,000 belong to Cecilia Dapaah’s dead brother – Paul Adom Otchere

Host of Good Evening Ghana Mr. Paul Adom Otchere claims there’s a perfect explanation for the $1 million dollars cash found in Cecilia Dapaah’s home.

According to the host of Good evening Ghana, $800,000 of the $1 million dollars belonged to Cecilia Dapaah’s late brother who gave that money to her late mum before he died and only $200,000 belonged to Cecilia Dapaah herself.

“When he died Cecilia Dapaah’s mother called Cecilia Dapaah that the brother had left $800,000 and I think I should let you have it. So Cecilia carried 800,000 dollars from the village to Accra. The $800,000 was described to police as belonging to Cecilia Dapaah’s late brother.

According to Paul all that he is saying is on the police Charge Sheet

“if you get it, it is there, you will see it, it was written months ago” When the man died, Cecilia Dapaah’s mother called and said your brother’s money is still with me and I still think I should hand it over to you and with the consent of the other siblings they decided to give the money to Cecilia Dapaah”

Paul said the only reason Cecilia Dapaah went to police was because she was going to face a family trust crisis

“How was she going to explain to her siblings that the money given to her by her mother is stolen. She was going to suffer a family integrity crisis” Mr. Adom-Otchere said

Cecilia Dapaah is currently under investigations by the Special Prosecutor to ascertain the origin of the money an establish if a crime has been committed
